Nia Evans is a consultant pharmacist working in Advanced Therapies and Haematology at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
She is responsible for preparing the pharmacy team for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) and to ensure that these new therapies are used safely and appropriately. She works as part of the MW-ATTC to develop resources that help in the use of ATMPs so that the learning from this is shared around the country. This helps to avoid re-inventing the wheel and will help patients be able to access these medicines as soon as possible.
Nia will be contributing to the discussion/Q&A session at this event and works closely with Rachel Palmer, Lead Pharmacist for Advanced Therapies at University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
